As a kid, I was very intrigued by the story that Johnny Rotten, before he became the singer of the Sex Pistols, had taken a Pink Floyd shirt and written “I hate” above the print. I still like that idea a lot and I think we see far too little of that kind of shirts. Why just wear shirts telling people what you like – let ’em know what you don’t like as well!
I guess it’s more common with politics (and maybe sports, I’m not a big sports fan so I’m not sure), but you rarely see this with culture, do you? Where’s my “I hate John Lennon” shirt?
